The Artistic Career of Wilhelmina Barns-Graham — Online Talk
Penlee House Gallery & Museum hosts this online talk on Wednesday 16 September at 7pm, with Rob Airey of the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust tracing the artistic career of one of the most significant British abstract painters of the last century. Barns-Graham spent much of her working life in St Ives, and her connection to Cornwall runs deep through her practice. Airey draws on the Trust's archive to explore how her work developed across decades, from early figuration through to bold abstraction. Tickets start at £15.
