Primroses and cowslips talk, Lamorna Village Hall
The Peninsula Garden Society welcomes members and guests to an evening talk at Lamorna Village Hall, just outside Penzance, exploring the remarkable variation in primroses and cowslips — two plants many of us walk past without a second glance. The talk, titled "Fancy and Feathered", promises to reveal just how much diversity lies within these familiar British wildflowers, from unusual colour forms to structural quirks that have fascinated botanists and gardeners for generations. A relaxed evening suited to curious gardeners, plant lovers, and anyone who enjoys learning more about the natural world on their own doorstep. Check with the society directly for any booking requirements.
