Pokémon TCG League Challenge at Mad for Miniatures
This League Challenge takes place at Mad for Miniatures in St Austell on Saturday 3 October, running from 11:30am to approximately 4:00pm. It is a small, entry-level competitive event where players can earn Championship points towards a potential invitation to the World Championships. To take part, players must hold a Pokémon Trainer Club account and be in good standing with Play! Pokémon programmes. Bring a legal 60-card deck and a deck list. The event runs 3 or 4 rounds of Swiss best-of-3, with no single-elimination top cut. Places are limited to 24 players, with local players given priority. To secure a space, contact Mad for Miniatures via their Facebook page or in store — full payment of the £10 entry fee is required at the time of booking, by PayPal or in person. You will need your Player ID when booking. All participants receive 1 Play! Point for taking part. Championship points are awarded as follows: 1st place 15 points, 2nd place 12 points, 3rd–4th place 10 points each. Prizes are 3 play boosters per player, with the winner receiving 10 boosters and 2nd place receiving 5. There is also a Pokémon Prize wall: the winner can choose a big prize, 2nd place receives a small prize, and a random small prize is given away separately.
