Writing workshop: refreshing old ideas
This afternoon workshop at Newlyn Art Gallery in Penzance looks at the art of adaptation — how to take a story that already exists and find a fresh angle, a new form, or a different readership for it. Whether you're drawn to reimagining a classic, retelling a folk tale, or reworking something closer to home, the session offers practical guidance on how to reshape source material into something genuinely your own. Suitable for writers at any stage, it's a chance to think differently about storytelling in a setting that regularly brings creative work to Penzance. Tickets are £25.
