Rose of Nevada: Live Score Screening
Rose of Nevada is a film set on the Cornish coast, following a missing fishing trawler that mysteriously returns to harbour. Two young men sign on with its new crew, unaware of the strange events that are about to unfold. The screening pairs the film with a live score performed in the auditorium, weaving music and moving image together in real time — a more immediate experience than a standard cinema night. It suits anyone drawn to maritime stories, Cornish settings, or the particular atmosphere that live music brings to a film. Hall for Cornwall in Truro hosts the evening on Friday 30 October at 7:30pm.
