Santa fun run and steam train ride

A charity fun run with a twist — participants board the Lord Oliver Brown steam locomotive at Plym Valley Railway and ride to the start of a 3k sponsored run, with christmassy stops along the way including a snow station, a selfie with an elf, and festive songs. The run is untimed and open to all ages and paces. Come in festive fancy dress — pyjamas, a favourite Christmas character, or a homemade costume — and enter the best outfit competition. Every finisher receives a medal. Each participant is asked to raise a minimum amount in sponsorship, with all funds going to Children's Hospice South West, which supports families at Little Harbour in Cornwall. Places are limited to 120 per wave, with spectators welcome at the Plymbridge start line.
