Folk double bill: Shane Pendergast and Lucy Farrell
Lucy Farrell and Shane Pendergast share the stage at the Tolmen Centre, Falmouth, on Saturday 7 November. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Farrell is a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner, known for her poetic songwriting, unconventional melodies, and the crystalline clarity of her voice. Her credits include work with The Furrow Collective and Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band. Her solo arrangements draw on tenor guitar and viola. Pendergast, from Prince Edward Island, Canada, is rooted in the Maritime storytelling tradition. He won Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the Music PEI Awards for Second Wind (2021), and his 2025 release Winter Grace offers a personal reflection on life in the Maritimes. The evening brings together English and Canadian folk. Tickets are £16, £12, or £8.
