Shoresearch rockpool survey at Prisk Cove
Shoresearch is a citizen science programme that monitors the health of Cornwall's intertidal zones, and this session takes place at Prisk Cove near Falmouth on the morning of Monday 28 September. Participants survey the rocky shore, identifying and recording the creatures and plants living between the tides — from limpets and periwinkles to anemones and seaweed. No experience is needed; trained leaders guide the group through the identification process. It's a good outing for anyone curious about coastal wildlife, and the data collected feeds directly into long-term research on how Cornwall's shoreline is changing. Admission is free.
