Shoresearch at Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes
Shoresearch is a citizen science programme that trains volunteers to survey and record the plants and animals living in intertidal habitats — the zone between the tides that's among the most ecologically rich on the Cornish coast. At Trevaunance Cove, you'll work alongside experienced surveyors to identify species, log what you find, and contribute data that helps track the long-term health of these shores. No prior experience is needed. This is a free, outdoor session suited to anyone curious about the natural world — families, visitors, and local residents alike. Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet and check the tide times before you head down.
