Every Friday morning, Cornish Craft Barn in Blackwater opens its doors for the Stitch Up Social — a laid-back gathering for anyone who loves textile arts or has been meaning to give them a try. Whether you're working on embroidery, quilting, mending, or something else entirely, the idea is simple: bring your project or your curiosity and work at your own pace. The barn has generous tables for spreading out large pieces, plus sewing machines and overlockers you're welcome to use. Cake and coffee are always on hand, and the views from the space aren't bad either.
