Free family craft morning at Kresen Kernow
Kresen Kernow holds one of the largest collections of books about Cornwall, and this monthly craft session draws on that treasure trove for inspiration. Each month explores a different theme and technique — from puppet-making to bookbinding — led by artist and workshop facilitator Sophie Stanley-Butcher of Pop Up Paint Pot. The October session runs on Saturday 31st from 10am to 12pm, with no booking needed. Sessions are free and drop-in, designed to be accessible to babies, toddlers, older children, and adults alike. Part of a year-long programme running every last Saturday of the month through 2026, the series is a collaboration with Redruth Library. Keep an eye on Kresen Kernow's social media for the specific theme ahead of each session.
