Teylu Visiting Artist Family Day with Tyreis Holder
Tyreis Holder is the Teylu Visiting Artist at Tate St Ives this September — an annual programme that invites a contemporary artist to co-create an immersive, participatory large-scale artwork with local families, young people and community groups in the Foyle Studio. Sunday 4 October is the final day of her creating this making space with families. Drop in any time between 10.00 and 15.00 to make art alongside her, learn about her work, and get involved with different types of making inspired by the five senses. Entry is £1, and free for under-19s, Tate Members and Local pass holders. The event is recommended for children and young people; under-12s must be accompanied by an adult. After this day, Tyreis Holder's installation will remain on display for visitors until Sunday 11 October.
