Sketching in Tregenna Castle Gardens, St Ives
This two-hour session takes place in the subtropical gardens of Tregenna Castle, one of St Ives's most quietly impressive settings — a hillside estate of palms, ferns and winding paths above the town. The focus is on noticing rather than producing a finished piece. You'll be guided through simple observational techniques that help you look more carefully at the world around you, with sketching as the tool for slowing down. Suitable for all abilities, including complete beginners. No prior drawing experience is needed — just a willingness to spend a morning outside with a pencil and some unhurried attention.
