The Christophers — film screening in Liskeard
The Christophers screens at Liskerrett Community Centre in Liskeard, with showings at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Friday 6 November 2026. The film follows Julian Sklar, a painter who retreated from the London art world into self-imposed isolation. His two estranged children hire Lori, a young painter, to pose as a prospective assistant — tasked with gaining his trust and completing a collection of unfinished canvases before it is too late. A quiet, character-driven drama about art, family, and what gets left behind, this suits anyone who enjoys thoughtful cinema in a welcoming community setting.
