On Halloween night, Trerice — a National Trust manor house near Kestle Mill — opens its doors for an atmospheric evening of mystery and historical hauntings. As darkness falls, the rooms come alive with eerie encounters, low lighting, and the occasional jump scare, all rooted in the manor's long history. Book a 30-minute arrival slot and stay until the house closes at 8:30pm. The café will be serving seasonal light bites and drinks until 8pm, so you can warm up before or after exploring the house. Don't forget to bring a torch. Designed primarily for teenagers and adults, this experience welcomes children aged 11 and over when accompanied by an adult — though younger visitors may find some elements frightening.
