David Myers: The Long Run

David Myers presents The Long Run at St Budeaux Library on Friday 13 November at 7pm. Tickets are £5.40. His route began in Croatia and followed the Dinaric Alps through Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo — 850km through a region he describes as one of immense natural and cultural beauty, with people of tremendous hospitality. The journey also took him through a landscape still marked by war and ethnic division. Along the way: accidental border crossings, snow fields, abandoned villages, lightning storms, and a close encounter with Europe's most venomous snake.
