The Lost Boys of Carbis Bay — documentary screening
The Lost Boys of Carbis Bay follows the Carbis Bay Crew, a group of men who have spent more than 30 years descending into Cornwall's abandoned mines — through deep shafts, chest-deep water, and tight tunnels. What looks like an adrenaline pursuit turns out to be something quieter: a lifeline, a way to reset, and a bond forged far below ground. The film explores themes of camaraderie, self-discovery, and men's mental health with the kind of honesty that only comes from knowing people well. Screening at Calstock Arts on Thursday 15 October at 7:30 pm, tickets are £5.50.
