The No.1 Holiday Destination
The No.1 Holiday Destination is a new comedy landing in Porthtowan this October, following a freshly independent country that has hatched a big idea — and left out any semblance of a plan. Expect sharp writing, comic missteps, and the kind of political absurdity that feels closer to home than it probably should. It is the sort of play that earns its laughs through character rather than spectacle. A good night out for fans of new writing and political comedy, at a venue that keeps things pleasingly informal. Doors for the 7:30 pm performance on Wednesday 28 October.
