The Turning Point – free screening at St Ives School of Painting
The Turning Point is one of five short films made for St Ives Stories, a collection exploring the people, places and traditions that have shaped the town. This film focuses on St Ives School of Painting — tracing its journey from the 1970s to the present day and the determination that kept it alive in Porthmeor Studios. Screenings run on the hour, every hour from 10am to 4pm, in the very building where much of the story unfolded. Entry is free, making it an easy way to spend part of a morning or afternoon learning about one of Cornwall's most enduring creative institutions.
