Toby Shaer, Archie Moss and Jack Warnock are a brand-new trio formed out of a shared love for traditional music from the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe. Since meeting in 2019, the three have established themselves as dynamic performers and sensitive re-interpreters of the tradition. Archie Moss (accordion) is a BBC award-winning musician and composer, and one of the most in-demand button accordion players in the UK, with credits alongside Seth Lakeman, Sam Sweeney, and Eliza Carthy. Toby Shaer (fiddle, flute, whistles, cittern) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer who has toured across Europe, Australia, and China with artists including Cara Dillon, McCusker, McGoldrick, Doyle, and Sam Kelly & the Lost Boys. Jack Warnock (guitar, vocals) is from Co. Derry in Ireland — an award-winning guitarist and singer, an avid Gaeilgeoir, and a performer of songs in both Irish and English, with a repertoire steeped in storytelling. The trio approach their arrangements with delicacy and thought, drawing on a range of traditions and presenting folk music through a contemporary lens.
