Tony Fox debut album launch, Falmouth
Tony Fox — the alias of Antonia Fox, a three-piece band rooted in the depths of West Cornwall — takes to the stage at The Chintz Bar and Underland to launch their debut album, Holy Dancing Girls. Expect repetitive krautrock rhythms, driving post-punk bass, psych guitar, and raw poetry-led lyrics about the margins of society. Support comes from Love Fortress, a Cornwall-based five-piece with a late-sixties psych-pop sound and a leaning towards the absurd. The night runs from 9pm to 1am, closing with a DJ set from Dioxin. Tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
