Seagrass seed collecting at Torpoint
Join a group of volunteers at Torpoint this Friday morning to collect seeds from a healthy intertidal seagrass meadow on the Cornish coast. Seagrass is one of the ocean's most valuable habitats, supporting fish, invertebrates, and storing significant amounts of carbon. No experience is needed — just a willingness to get your feet wet and contribute to real marine conservation work. It's a good opportunity to learn about coastal ecology while doing something tangible for the local environment. The session is free and meets at the Free Car Park in Torpoint at 11:15 am.
