Treens Pursuit Series, Flushing
The Treens Pursuit Series is a club racing series run from Flushing Sailing Club, right on the water at Flushing village near Falmouth. Pursuit racing turns the usual handicap system on its head: slower boats head out first, with faster ones released at timed intervals behind them, so that whoever leads at the finish gun wins outright — no calculations required afterwards. This is the second of five rounds in the series, taking place on Saturday 10 October, making it a useful fixture for sailors tracking their overall standing. The club's waterfront position means the racing is easy to follow from the shore as well as from the water itself.
