Sam Crosby: Tristan & Isolde
Sam Crosby — mythologist and storyteller, previously known for his telling of 'King Arthur, Loyalty, Lunacy and Lust' — brings the ancient story of Tristan and Isolde to St Endellion Church on Friday 13 November at 7:30 pm. The source describes the tragedy as one that obsessed medieval Europe and inspired Shakespeare to write Romeo and Juliet. In true Recalling Fire style, the evening is not a show but a participatory act: the storytelling is heavily improvisational and raw, punctuated with moments of facilitated discussion where those present can share how the ancient scenes touch on their own adult life experience.
