Witches Day workshop at Liskeard Museum
As part of Liskeard Museum's October half-term programme exploring Cornish myths and legends, this morning session invites children aged seven and over to learn about witches through storytelling and then make their own clay witch's hat to take home. The session runs from 11am to 12 noon on Wednesday 21 October, with a second session available in the afternoon. Places are limited to ten children per session, so booking in advance via the museum's website is essential. At just £2 per participant, it's one of four myth and legend days running across the half term, alongside sessions on Cornish Knockers, the Green Man, and the old Cornish apple festival of Allantide.
