UK Fungus Day ranger walk at Trelissick

On UK Fungus Day, the ranger team at Trelissick is opening up areas of the historic parkland not usually accessible to visitors, giving you a rare chance to explore beyond the regular paths. The walk focuses on surveying grassland mushrooms — waxcaps, puffballs, and whatever else the autumn has brought up — with the rangers on hand to help with identification along the way. The event is free, though you'll need to book a place in advance. National Trust members park for free; standard car park charges apply for others.
