Unschool of Art: Go Wild (ages 10–16)
The Unschool of Art is a regular Saturday afternoon group for young people aged 10–16, running in five or six week blocks throughout the year. Go Wild is a block of five sessions booked and priced as a block, starting Saturday 19 September and running through to 17 October. Sessions are held at The Art Room, Redruth. Each block introduces different materials, techniques and ways of working — drawing, painting, printmaking and clay among others — while giving young people room to develop their own ideas. Teachers pay attention to what participants are trying to do and introduce new skills when they become useful, rather than following a fixed lesson plan. If you would like your young artist to try a session before committing to a block, the organisers invite you to get in touch to arrange a trial.
