Victoria Wood's dinnerladies – Stage Adaptation
Victoria Wood's dinnerladies — her warmly observed BBC comedy set in a factory canteen — gets a brand-new stage treatment at Hall for Cornwall on Tuesday 18 May 2027. Les Dennis heads the cast in what promises to be a faithful yet fresh take on Wood's writing, bringing her sharply funny characters to life in front of a live audience. A good fit for fans of the original series and anyone who enjoys ensemble comedy with heart — and Hall for Cornwall's intimate theatre setting makes for a fine night out in Truro.
