Voice, Rhythm and Belonging workshop at The Exchange
On 10 October, performer and facilitator Lizi Kamba leads a 90-minute workshop at The Exchange in Penzance, drawing on Afro-diasporic traditions to explore themes of identity, migration and belonging through voice and movement. Expect a warm, participatory session — this is not a lecture or a performance you watch from a seat, but an invitation to take part, connect with others, and explore how rhythm and the body can carry cultural memory. The workshop is free and open to all, though booking is essential. It runs from 14.00 to 15.30 and is part of a wider autumn programme of events at Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange.
