Walk Talk Kernow at Cape Cornwall
Walk Talk Kernow is a free adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice. While walking in nature, the group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others. This walk takes place on Friday 9 October 2026, meeting near the main entrance of the Cape Cornwall Club (Golf Club) at 10am to register. The route is a gentle circular amble — the organisers describe it as an amble, not a ramble — heading towards Carn Gloose, with views of Cape Cornwall and Sennen on a clear day, before returning through Bollowal Farm to the Club for refreshments. The paths are well surfaced in most directions with small slopes and a few low stiles, and should be suitable for most people. Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring enough to drink. You will be asked to sign a registration form confirming you are fit and healthy on the day. Look out for team members wearing Cornwall Hospice lanyards. Parking is free, though it may be busy. In adverse weather, call 01726 829874 to confirm the walk is going ahead.
