Watercolour Club · Series 1 — Autumn
Book your place — £60 → Dates in this series: Wednesday 14 October, 9:30am Wednesday 21 October, 9:30am Wednesday mornings to make water do what you meant. Washes, edges and light — a new technique or mark-making skill each week, and a sample piece to use it on: some finished in the room, some the start of something to carry on with between sessions. Wednesdays 09:30–12:00 — 23 September, then 7, 14 and 21 October — at the Cornish Craft Barn. Join from 14 October for the two sessions left: £30 a session, paid as one series of £60; continue into Series 2 after half-term — six Wednesdays, 4 November to 9 December, £180. Joining part-way through? I’ll give you a mini induction on your first morning, so you start with the same toolkit as everyone else. Sessions of two and a half hours, 8 seats, beginners and improvers together. A week off on 30 September — homework, with tasks set to bring back finished on the 7th. A short materials list before you start, and a starter kit at cost if you would rather not buy your own yet. A one-page recap each week with the demonstration photos, and the group’s own album. Paintings you take home and carry on with between Wednesdays — not one piece saved up for the end. First refusal on Series 2 — six Wednesdays, 4 November to 9 December, £180 — before it goes public. The ladder: an Essentials half-day is the taster; a Club Series is where you get properly better at one medium; Studio mornings are the room to keep painting in.
