Wet Felted Christmas Stockings in Redruth
Join maker Sam Tancock at The Art Room in Redruth for an afternoon workshop where you'll transform coloured wool fibres into a finished Christmas stocking using warm water, soap and a fair bit of hand work. Sam will guide you through shaping, felting and shrinking the wool into a sturdy fabric, then show you how to add colour, texture and simple details to make the piece your own. There's plenty of room to experiment along the way. The session is suitable for complete beginners and all materials are provided, so you'll leave with a ready-to-hang stocking — something to bring out year after year.
