Widdershins at Grampound Village Hall
Widdershins takes place on Halloween night — Saturday 31 October, from 7:30pm — at Grampound Village Hall, one of the main gathering spots in this small village between Truro and St Austell. In old British and Cornish tradition, to go widdershins is to travel counter-clockwise, against the path of the sun: a direction long wound through folklore and associated with the uncanny.
