Will Barnes Trio at Calstock Arts

Will Barnes brings his trio to Calstock Arts on Saturday 21 November, with doors at 7:00pm and music from 8:00pm. The contemporary jazz ensemble, led by guitarist and composer Will Barnes, blends melodic, guitar-led writing with open improvisation and cinematic atmospheres. Drawing on modern jazz, post-bop, and the landscapes and folklore of Wales, the ensemble has developed a sound described as both evocative and accessible. Support on the night comes from Aidan Thorne and Ross Hicks. Tickets are £15 plus a £1 booking fee, or £13 plus £1 for Friends of Calstock Arts. All ages are welcome; under-14s must be accompanied by an adult. The venue has good disabled access and parking close by.
