Will Barnes Trio at Calstock Arts

Guitarist and composer Will Barnes brings his trio to Calstock Arts for an evening of contemporary jazz rooted in post-bop tradition and wide-open improvisation. The ensemble's sound draws on modern jazz and the landscapes and folklore of Wales, blending melodic guitar-led writing with cinematic textures that are both evocative and approachable. Support comes from Aiden Thorne and Ross Hicks, making for a full night of live music in one of Cornwall's most intimate and welcoming arts venues. Tickets are priced between £14 and £16.
