Words-Work Open Mic Poetry Night
Following the success of its debut during Bude Literary Festival 2025, Words-Work returns as a regular open mic evening hosted by North Coast Arts at the House of Chaplin. Anyone is welcome — whether you want to share original poetry, spoken word, or work-in-progress, or simply sit back and listen. Each performer gets up to five minutes, with around a dozen slots available on the night. Advance sign-up is encouraged via North Coast Arts, though walk-in spots may be available. Doors open at 8pm on Thursday 22 October, and the evening also offers a chance to stay on, chat, and plan for future sessions.
