An Evening with Xuefei Yang in Truro
Xuefei Yang is a classical guitarist who has performed in more than 50 countries, with appearances at Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Philharmonie Berlin. Her collaborators include tenor Ian Bostridge and flautist Sir James Galway. She has worked to broaden the classical guitar repertoire, bringing both traditional and new works to concert audiences. Her recordings on major international labels include Sketches of China and Songs from our Ancestors, the latter made with Ian Bostridge. Her debut album earned a Gold Disc, and subsequent releases have received critical attention from Gramophone magazine. Classic FM and BBC Music Magazine are among the broadcasters and publications that have covered her work. The concert takes place at the Burrell Theatre, Truro, on Saturday 14 November at 7:00 pm.
