Yin yoga and sound bath at St Germans Priory
On a Wednesday evening in October, St Germans Priory opens its ancient doors for a two-hour session combining gentle yin yoga with a live sound bath. The session is led by Tracey of Sacred Space Healing and Donna of Keynvor Yoga, who guide participants through slow, supported postures before easing into a full sound bath designed to settle the nervous system. The yin postures are held for longer than in a typical yoga class, encouraging the body to release tension gradually — well suited to the quieter pace of autumn. The sound frequencies that follow are intended to deepen that stillness further. Afterwards there is hot chocolate and herbal tea to share. Bring a yoga mat and your favourite blanket; the organisers suggest both for comfort among the old stone walls.
