Zed Love closing performance and conversation
Marking the final week of Libita Sibungu's exhibition Zed Love at Newlyn Art Gallery in Penzance, this evening brings the show to a close with a live performance of its vocal score, un-settle-un-stable, alongside collaborators Maria Christoforidou, Caroline Deeds, Catherine Lucktaylor and Angeline Morrison. After the performance, Libita will reflect on her practice of writing with notes as an embodied, exhibition-making process, followed by an in-conversation with sound artist Neil Rose, who worked with her on the exhibition's sound composition. The event runs from 6.30 to 8.30 pm on Friday 23 October — a good option for anyone who has followed the exhibition or wants a deeper understanding of the work before it closes.
